Spitz x The Prize
Often thought to be grey, Girl Talk is a unique looking filly with talent to burn. A total character, she has her unlady-like quirks that seem to have come from the upbeat nature of her sire. She runs really well in the wet, unafraid of getting dirty, a trait seemingly passed between Spitz' lines; horses well known to be apparently part seahorse! She's quite playful, although not particularity with people as much as she is with her surroundings. Things such as brushes, buckets etc. can be seemingly entertaining to pick up and rub along the ground or a fence post. If there's nothing available, she will often push out her tongue, holding it out between her teeth and then begin to wipe it (and her lip) along any surface. Character is an understatement! Barn Name: Lassy Age: Two (Y12) Breed: Thoroughbred Colour: Black Roan Markings: Blaze, One Sock Height: 15.3hh Gender: Filly Race Record: 1-0-0-1 Workout/Training Posts: A filly who simply likes to be entertained, Lassy thrives on the track as it means she gets to put her mind to good use and really bring her focus in on something she knows she's good at. She's not one to be pushed around, and her typically quiet nature makes her work ideally as a strong Preceder; unfased by pushing from behind and still able to tolerate a horse or two in front until it's her time to shine. She's sensible and will not try to overpower her jockey by pushing ahead before she's ready; she's a slow thinker and a gradual runner, and takes her leisurely time in pushing up through the places. However she is still a strong contestant and should not be (foolishly) shrugged off, she is fiercely ambitious and her stamina is insanely competitive. Built shorter but compact, she's no sprinter; her muscle mass, thick set shoulders, broad chest and sloping quarters make her a heavier type, but as a distance runner she is an absolute demon. Her head is dangerously cool, her focus hard to break, and her speed will slowly, gradually build, moving perhaps from 3-4 horses behind the front runner, one by one out-lasting her contestants endurance until she's satisfied in the lead.
